Logitech outs Apple-friendly Wireless Solar Keyboard K760, we go hands-on -- Engadget

Logitech outs Apple-friendly Wireless Solar Keyboard K760, we go hands-on -- Engadget: "Earlier this May, Logitech unveiled its Solar Keyboard Folio for the new iPad and iPad 2, and the accessory maker is rounding out the month by adding another sun-powered peripheral to its stable. Like the Keyboard Folio, the just-announced Wireless Solar Keyboard K760 works with iPads, but it's also compatible with Macs and iPhones. The K760 has Bluetooth for pairing up to three devices at a time, and it features Mac-specific keys such as Brightness, Command and Eject. Users should get about three months of use after the keyboard is fully charged up via sun or indoor light. We got to do a bit of typing with the K760, and are happy to report that it's a fairly well-built little grid. The deck feels solid, and the keys have a decent depth to them when pressed. Plus, the spun metal power button and the silver flake paint job lend a premium appearance. It'll cost $80 when it goes on sale next month, and you can get a closer look at what those dollars will buy in our gallery below. Head past the break for the full PR."

32GB Variant of White Nokia Lumia 900? : My Nokia Blog

32GB Variant of White Nokia Lumia 900? : My Nokia Blog:

WMPoweruser reports on seeing a 32GB variant of the Stormtrooper white Nokia Lumia 900 at O2 Germany.
Now, this could simply be an error though a few things may suggest otherwise:
1) Germany has had variants before of WIndows Phone devices with larger capacity than standard – 16GB variants in phones that are 8GB elsewhere
2) WMPU has contacted O2 Germany customer service who confirms the 32GB size (they could be wrong, CS may simply be going from the data on the site) – they also have a printed brochure that shows the same 32GB storage.
This would be nice. 16GB seems to be the sweetspot since most people aren’t requiring much more than 8GB or 16GB. Nokia did have huge internal storage in the N97 and N900 (32GB) and up to 64GB in the top end Nokia N9. But if the majority being sold are the 16GB ones then it might be better economically to stick with that.
However, it would be nice to have options. It makes manufacturing harder as you have another variant but in the end, it’s good for the end consumer who wants more storage (especially if like the N9 or iPhone there is no MicroSD slot).
If this turns out to be real, I’d like this please. I’ve already used up a lot of space on my Lumia 800. 32GB is a nice minimum size for a geek I guess.

Nissan Juke-R | Gear Patrol

Nissan Juke-R | Gear Patrol: "A couple of months ago, news of the Nissan Juke-R Concept hit the web. Nissan execs Jerry Hardcastle and Paul Wilcox gave the project the nod and approached the minds at Ray Mallock, Ltd. in the UK, who subsequently chopped at Nissan GTR by 250 mm and saved the all-wheel drive system, suspension and beefy 485 horsepower twin-turbo V6 — much to the delight of automobile enthusiasts all over the world. The result is strangely magnificent, especially with the matte black paint job and the blacked out wheels, but it’s the performance and handling that really blow the mind for a car of this type. 160 mph, zero-to-sixty in 3.7 seconds and on-rails in the twisties capability.
Now for the big news… Nissan is putting it into limited production and added a horsepower boost to 545 ponies. The first customers have oil tycoons from Dubai (shocking, we know) and additional Juke-Rs are slated for production upon request and payment of substantial funds, not doubt, for this unique performance vehicle. Gear heads, rejoice."

Nikon D800 | Gear Patrol

Nikon D800 | Gear Patrol: "Guess what? Your memory card just got a whole lot smaller thanks to the new Nikon D800 ($2,999). There’s no hiding the fact that the long awaited full-frame FX-format shooter is a direct assault on the Canon 5D Mk II, which has captured the attention (and dollars) of HD-SLR shooters. Built around a Super Bowl sized 36.3 megapixel full-frame sensor, the D800 has been adorned with many of the features first announced on the colossal Nikon D4; that means you’ll find the same ultra-quick Expeed 3 processor, 91k-pixel RGB metering sensor, 3.2″ 921k-dot LCD, and a 51-point auto focus system. Rounding out the highlights are compatibility with both FX and DX Nikkor lenses, a healthy 100-6400 (expandable to 50-25600) ISO range, built-in HDR, dual SD/Compact Flash card slots and a USB 3.0 firehose to get those massive images off the camera."
